According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Bucks have received permission to interview Heat assistant coach Chris Quinn for their head coaching vacancy.
The Bucks are still looking for a replacement for Mike Budenholzer, with Quinn one of the coaches they’re looking to speak with. He’s been a member of the Heat coaching staff since 2014, most recently serving as Erik Spoelstra’s associate head coach. Quinn has been under consideration for multiple jobs in the past and should be a hot name for other NBA head coaching openings this offseason.

The Jazz have requested permission to interview Miami Heat assistant Chris Quinn for their head coaching position.
Quinn also was a candidate for the Hornets head coaching position, and he has been a member of Erik Spoelstra’s staff in Miami since 2014. Utah has also requested to interview Toronto assistant Adrian Griffin and Phoenix assistant Kevin Young.

Guard Chris Quinn has signed a free-agent contract with the Heat.
Quinn, a three-year starter at Notre Dame, averaged 14.6 points, 3.5 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.27 steals in 122 games over his four-year career, including a team-best 17.7 points this past season. He’ll play in the Pro Summer League starting next week, but is a longshot to make the Heat’s regular-season roster.

Jazz sign G Chris Quinn to a non-guaranteed contract.
Quinn will get a training camp invite after spending last season in Russia. Despite his NBA experience, it would be surprising to see him make the team. Trey Gilder, Darnell Jackson and Brian Butch will also be in camp with Utah.

Jazz waive G Chris Quinn and F Darnell Jackson.
Both players were training camp bodies and weren’t expected to make the final roster.

Chris Quinn has been acquired by the Tulsa 66ers of the D-League.
Quinn was in training camp with the Jazz, but he was waived at the end of October.

Cavs sign G Chris Quinn for the remainder of the season.
Quinn has been playing in the D-League with the Tulsa 66ers, and now he’ll get another shot with the Cavs after Cleveland has been decimated by injuries in the backcourt. Quinn’s signing for the season rather than a 10-day deal could indicate that Dion Waiters (knee) will miss extended time.

    Cavaliers waive guard Chris Quinn.
Quinn finished the season with the Cavs after spending the majority of it in the D-League. He hasn’t played during the Las Vegas Summer League due to concussions.

The Miami Heat will start the same five players they used in Tuesday’s win over the Bobcats, meaning Jason Williams and Ricky Davis will come off the bench again.
Coach Pat Riley said Williams probably will return to the starting point guard job eventually, but he will stick with Chris Quinn in that role for Friday. ''Right now, we just need change,’' Riley said. ``[ Dwyane Wade] hit it right on the head -- just something different, anything.’' Penny Hardaway will start at small forward in place of Davis. Don’t be fooled by who’s starting and who’s not, as Williams and Davis are the guys with the value here.
  • Heat coach Pat Riley said Saturday he had no indication when Jason Williams, Chris Quinn or Shaquille O’Neal would be healthy enough to return.
The Heat will have a three-day break before it plays host to the Bucks on Wednesday. “It’s very difficult, but there are still games to be played,” forward Dorell Wright said. “It puts a lot on other guys to step up.” All these players will be serious gambles for Week 10 - it would be wise to reserve each of them until they return.
