Adama Sanogo (right knee management) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s matchup with New Orleans.
Sanogo hasn’t appeared in a game in about a month and has yet to play 10 minutes in a game this season. His absence won’t impact fantasy basketball.
  • CHI Point Guard #11
Ayo Dosunmu (right soleus strain) is questionable to play against the Pelicans on Tuesday.
Previous reports indicated that Dosunmu was targeting a return to the lineup on Wednesday against Atlanta, but he is being listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game. Since it is a back-to-back, he will likely only suit up for one of these games, and it wouldn’t be surprising if it ends up being their game against the Hawks. Lonzo Ball and Talen Horton-Tucker would lose out on a few minutes if Dosunmu were to return for this game.
  • CHI Point Guard #0
Coby White (cervical strain) is questionable to play against New Orleans on Tuesday.
White missed Sunday’s game against the Kings, which allowed Lonzo Ball to make his first start of the season. White’s return would likely push Ball back to the bench, though he played well enough as a starter to be worth streaming if White remains out.
  • CHI Small Forward #13
Torrey Craig will be re-evaliated in two weeks due to a right lower leg contusion.
Craig has missed six straight, and his string of absences will continue through at least January 27. He hasn’t been much of a factor when healthy, so his availability should be of little concern to fantasy managers.
  • CHI Point Guard #11
Ayo Dosunmu will remain sidelined Tuesday against the Pelicans and could return as soon as Wednesday against the Hawks.
Dosunmu will sit out a 10th straight game on Tuesday. According to Bulls insider K.C. Johnson, he’ll “scrimmage player development coaches and low-minute players” on Monday. As long as he feels good after the scrimmage, he could make his return for the second leg of Chicago’s back-to-back set.
  • CHI Point Guard #2
Lonzo Ball amassed 15 points (5-of-9 FGs), one rebound, three assists, one block, and five 3-pointers in 23 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Kings.
With Coby White (cervical strain) out, Ball made his first start since January 14, 2022, on Sunday. The minutes didn’t change much, with the 2017 lottery pick playing 23 minutes, but he did provide value for managers needing 3-pointers. Ball’s five 3-pointers were a season-high, and he’s 9-of-15 from beyond the arc in Chicago’s last two games. Rostered in 16% of Yahoo leagues, Ball’s fantasy value is limited due to the restrictions he remains under.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey shot 4-of-9 from the field and 3-of-4 from the foul line in Sunday’s loss to Sacramento, scoring 12 points with 11 rebounds, seven assists, and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.
Giddey recorded his ninth double-double of the season on Sunday, one shy of his total for the 2023-24 campaign. As many fantasy managers hoped, the move to Chicago has increased Giddey’s fantasy value, with the former lottery pick providing top-100 value in 8-cat formats. The Bulls play four games during Week 12, beginning with the Pelicans on Tuesday.
  • CHI Center #9
Nikola Vucevic accounted for 18 points (8-of-15 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block, and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Kings.
While solid on Sunday afternoon, Vucevic was outplayed by Kings center Domantas Sabonis. Of greater importance to fantasy managers is the Bulls center’s production slowing down recently. Over the past two weeks, Vucevic has been a top-70 player in 9-cat formats. While his season-long value remains high, with Vooch sitting within the top 10, the clock is ticking for Vucevic managers considering selling high.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #8
Zach LaVine shot 12-of-24 from the field and 7-of-7 from the foul line in Sunday’s 124-119 loss to the Kings, scoring 36 points with 10 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and five 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
LaVine has been one of the hottest scorers in the NBA, tallying 30 points or more in six straight and seven of his last eight appearances. The Bulls have ramped up the pace this season, and their leading scorer has been one of the biggest beneficiaries. Over the past two weeks, LaVine has provided top-10 per-game value in 8- and 9-cat formats. Chicago plays four games during Week 12, beginning with the Pelicans on Tuesday.
  • CHI Power Forward #44
Patrick Williams (right elbow contusion) is active for Sunday’s Bulls-Kings game.
Williams is active after scoring just two points in each of his last two games. The Bulls wing has been underwhelming as of late and has played less than 22 minutes in two straight contests. It appears like he’ll be ready to handle a full workload on Sunday, though.
