  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cameron Johnson (left big toe sprain) and Day’Ron Sharpe (right wrist effusion) are out for Sunday’s game against the 76ers.
The Nets will be severely shorthanded for Sunday’s season finale, with Johnson and Sharpe joining a lengthy list of absentees. Noah Clowney and Trendon Watford are two players worth adding to lineups in active leagues, and Cam Thomas could be out for another 40-point game. He scored 46 in a loss to the 76ers in the final game of last season.
  • BKN Point Guard #17
Dennis Schroder (right Achilles soreness), Cameron Johnson (left big toe sprain), and Day’Ron Sharpe (right wrist effusion) are out for Friday’s game against the Knicks.
Brooklyn’s rotation will be light on proven bodies Friday night, with Schroder’s absence being the most noteworthy. With Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) also sidelined, Cam Thomas could be asked to do more playmaking. Johnson’s absence frees up additional minutes for Jalen Wilson, while Sharpe’s absence boosts Noah Clowney’s value.
  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cam Johnson (left big toe sprain) is doubtful, and Dennis Schroder is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Knicks.
Day’Ron Sharpe is also doubtful, which means Noah Clowney should continue to see significant run in the frontcourt. If Schroder is unavailable, Cam Thomas and Jalen Wilson would presumably pick up extra playing time in the backcourt.
  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cameron Johnson (left big toe sprain) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Knicks.
Johnson played in Wednesday’s win over the Raptors, logging 27 minutes off the bench. If available on Friday, he would have a similar workload, especially with rookie Noah Clowney playing well as the starting power forward.
  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cameron Johnson (left big toe sprain) will play against Toronto on Wednesday.
Johnson will be back in the lineup after a one-game absence, which was expected after he was initially listed as probable. His return, along with the return of Nic Claxton, will push Jalen Wilson and Noah Clowney back to the bench.
  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cameron Johnson (left big toe sprain) and Nic Claxton (left ankle sprain) are probable for Wednesday’s game against Toronto.
Johnson and Claxton appear poised to return on Wednesday, pushing Jalen Wilson and Noah Clowney to the bench. With Brooklyn out of postseason contention, Wilson and Clowney should not lack playing time for the final week of the regular season.
  • BKN Small Forward #28
Dorian Finney-Smith (left knee effusion) and Cam Johnson (left big toe sprain) will not play against the Kings on Sunday.
DFS will join Johnson on the sidelines for the second night of a back-to-back. That means that Noah Clowney and Trendon Watford will take on extra minutes, with one of them sliding into the starting unit. Clowney is coming off of two straight excellent performances, and he’ll look to turn in another big stat line with some extra minutes.
  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cameron Johnson (left big toe sprain) and Dennis Smith Jr. (right hip synovitis) have been downgraded to out for Saturday’s game against Detroit.
Both players were initially listed as doubtful, and now they have been ruled out for this game. Noah Clowney and Trendon Watford should be the main beneficiaries off the bench, though Lonnie Walker and Jalen Wilson should see extra minutes as well.
  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cameron Johnson (left big toe sprain) is doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Pistons.
After sitting out Monday’s game against the Pacers due to injury maintenance, Johnson was in the lineup on Wednesday. The shift from “injury maintenance” to “sprain” is concerning, especially for managers who still have him rostered. Johnson’s likely absence doesn’t impact the starting lineup, as Dorian Finney-Smith has been ahead of him in the pecking order. Still, we should see more of Trendon Watford now that the Nets have been eliminated from postseason contention. If Johnson doesn’t play, Watford is worth streaming in deep leagues, as there are only four games on the schedule for Saturday.
  • BKN Small Forward #2
Cam Johnson (left big toe injury maintenance) will play against Indiana on Wednesday.
Johnson was initially listed as probable, so his availability in this game isn’t a surprise. He should continue to come off the bench, where he logged 20 minutes on Sunday. That isn’t enough time for him to make an impact in fantasy.
