Cam Thomas shot 3-of-11 from the field and 8-of-10 from the foul line in Sunday’s loss to the Bulls, finishing with 15 points, one rebound, three assists and one three-pointer.
Thomas’ point output was solid, but most of his damage was done at the foul line. The Bucks guard made eight of his ten free throws, but he shot just 2-of-7 from inside the arc. Thomas’ three assists were the most in a game for him since joining the Bucks; he clearly understands his strengths, it’s just a matter of how accurately Cam shoots the basketball.

Cam Thomas added 27 points (11-of-17 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, one assist and one three-pointer in the win over the Pelicans on Thursday.
Thomas had another sensational scoring night off Milwaukee’s bench, finishing in a tie with Ryan Rollins for the most points by a Bucks player on Friday. Thomas made some contributions from the free-throw line but mostly did his scoring from inside the arc. He was efficient in his 21 minutes of action and has now scored over 25 points twice since being traded to Milwaukee. His role with the team seems clear, which makes him an interesting player in fantasy leagues the rest of the season.

Ryan Rollins (foot) is out for Thursday’s game against the Thunder.
Rollins is set to miss his second consecutive game with right foot plantar fasciitis. With the 23-year-old guard out Wednesday against the Magic, Cam Thomas stepped up and dropped 34 points in the victory. Thomas could be in for another big performance with Rollins out, though it’s a more difficult matchup as the Thunder lead the league in defensive efficiency.

Ryan Rollins (foot) is questionable for Thursday’s matchup with the Thunder.
Rollins sat out Wednesday’s matchup with Orlando, but he’s got a chance to return for the second leg of Milwaukee’s back-to-back set. If Rollins ultimately sits out, Cam Thomas could be in for another big performance. Thomas dropped 34 points against the Magic and hit a key triple late in the game to seal the victory.

Cam Thomas led the Bucks with 34 points (12-of-20 FGs), four rebounds, two assists and four three-pointers in a 116-108 win over the Magic on Wednesday.
Thomas only played 13 minutes against Orlando on Monday, but he took on a larger role in the rematch and was far more productive. His role dwindled over the final weeks of his Nets’ tenure, but in his second game with Milwaukee, he had his highest-scoring game since October. If Thomas is able to continue to play this well after the All-Star break, he may be able to secure a long-term deal this summer and be a strong option for fantasy managers down the stretch.

Ryan Rollins (foot) has been ruled out against the Magic on Wednesday.
Rollins was a late addition to the injury report, and he will now be sidelined for the first leg of this back-to-back. That will open a starting spot in the backcourt, which could be filled by Cam Thomas or Gary Harris.

Cam Thomas finished Monday’s loss to the Magic with four points (1-of-5 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), one rebound and one assist.
One day after his signing was made official, Thomas made his Bucks debut. As was the case in Brooklyn, he came off the bench, playing 13 minutes. The production wasn’t there, but the Bucks do have two more games before the All-Star break. There’s no need to roster Thomas in most leagues, but some practice time with his new teammates could prove helpful after the break.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Bucks have signed Cam Thomas.
Just a few days after being waived by the Nets, Thomas has reportedly found a new home. While a player capable of putting up big scoring numbers, the guard has not shown much ability to make plays for others or defend consistently. He’ll get the opportunity to do that in Milwaukee, hopefully using it as a springboard into free agency in the summer. Thomas’ signing could eventually leave a dent in the playing time for Ryan Rollins, A.J. Green, and Kevin Porter Jr.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Nets waived Cam Thomas.
Brooklyn kept Thomas around on a one-year deal, but it appears they didn’t intend to sign him to a long-term deal. They weren’t able to move him at the deadline, so they’ll cut their losses two months early. Thomas will get a head start on finding a new team to join, and he should still be able to provide offense wherever he signs. However, the only path to fantasy production for him is if he signs with another rebuilding team. With Thomas gone, Drake Powell and Ben Saraf should see a few extra minutes consistently.

Cam Thomas (personal) has been ruled out against the Magic on Thursday.
Thomas has been playing a reserve role for Brooklyn recently, which has led to some decent scoring nights, though he hasn’t popped. Drake Powell and Ben Saraf should take on extra minutes with Thomas unavailable.
