Caleb Martin (upper back soreness) is available for Tuesday’s game against Charlotte.
Martin is back after missing Philadelphia’s last two games. However, he’ll be used as a reserve, with KJ Martin moving into the starting lineup. The rotation minutes will be there for Martin, but it will be more difficult for him to provide reliable fantasy value.
  • PHI Small Forward #1
The 76ers will start Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre Jr., Paul George, KJ Martin and Guerschon Yabusele against Charlotte on Tuesday.
With Andre Drummond sidelined, Martin will get his first start of the year in a smaller lineup for Philly. Caleb Martin is back after a two-game absence, but he’ll play a reserve role in this game, which will be his first time coming off the bench since opening night.
  • PHI Small Forward #16
Caleb Martin (upper back soreness) is listed as probable for Tuesday’s game against Charlotte.
Martin is expected to be back after a two-game absence. He should make a return to the starting lineup, with Guerschon Yabusele sliding over to center to replace Andre Drummond. Ricky Council IV and KJ Martin will likely both lose out on minutes off the bench.
  • PHI Small Forward #16
Caleb Martin (upper back soreness) is out for Saturday’s game against the Pistons.
Martin will miss a second consecutive game, which should result in more rotation minutes for Ricky Council IV. How much Council potentially plays depends on Paul George (knee), who is a game-time decision for Saturday night.
  • PHI Small Forward #16
Caleb Martin (upper back soreness) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Pistons.
Martin is on track to return after sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Rockets. His availability impacts multiple players, including Ricky Council IV, who played 27 minutes off the bench on Wednesday night.
  • PHI Center #21
Paul George (left knee bone bruise) is questionable for Saturday’s matchup with the Pistons, and Joel Embiid (left knee injury management) is out.
George was a full participant in Friday’s practice, while Caleb Martin was a partial participant. Both are trending in the right direction ahead of Saturday’s tilt with Detroit, but if they are unable to go, expect Philly to keep rolling with its starting five of Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre, Jared McCain, Guerschon Yabusele and Andre Drummond. Yabusele has been productive in three straight starts and should be rostered in leagues of most sizes. Embiid still has no timeline for recovery, and Saturday will mark his 14th absence in 18 games to kick off the 2024-25 campaign. The Sixers are 3-14 and own the second-worst record in the Association, only one game ahead of the lowly Washington Wizards.
  • PHI Small Forward #16
Caleb Martin (low back soreness) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Rockets.
Martin only played 13 minutes in the 76ers’ last game, which allowed KJ Martin and Rickey Council IV to see more run. One of those two will likely start with Martin out Wednesday, though neither is on the streaming radar.
  • PHI Small Forward #16
Caleb Martin (low back soreness) is questionable to play against Houston on Wednesday.
Martin missed practice on Tuesday, so there is legitimate concern about his status for Wednesday’s game. He only logged 13 minutes in thier last game, which opened the door for KJ Martin and Ricky Council IV to play larger roles. If Martin remains sidelined, one of those guys will likely get the start, though neither is an appealing streaming option.
  • PHI Small Forward #8
Paul George (left knee hyperextension) will play against the Suns on a minutes restriction.
George will make his regular season debut for the 76ers in this game, but he won’t see a full workload. Nick Nurse didn’t share a number, but PG will have his minutes limited, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. Kyle Lowry will be pushed to playing a reserve role with George back.
  • PHI Center #21
Joel Embiid (knee) and Paul George (knee) will miss Wednesday’s matchup with the Pistons.
Neither Embiid nor George have played yet this season, and it’s unclear when they will be available for their season debuts. They participated in portions of Tuesday’s practice and will be re-evaluated later in the week. Kyle Lowry, Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre, Caleb Martin and Andre Drummond have started in each of the Sixers’ last two games, and that will likely remain the case until Embiid and George are back on the court.
