Brandon Ingram (ankle) is out for the rest of the season.
Given the time missed and the Raptors’ heading to the draft lottery, Ingram’s omission is unsurprising. He received a PRP injection in his foot on Tuesday, and the expectation is that he will be available for Toronto’s summer program. The former Pelicans wing did not appear in a game for the Raptors after being acquired at the trade deadline. While capable of offering top-75 fantasy value, Ingram’s injury woes make him challenging to trust in most fantasy leagues.

Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic said Friday that Brandon Ingram (ankle) will “hopefully” progress to full participation in practice and full practice next week.
Ingram has not made his Raptors debut, as he injured his ankle in early December while a member of the Pelicans and has been sidelined since. While Rajakovic’s update is positive, it will not impact fantasy basketball this season. Most leagues do not include Week 23, and even if Ingram were to be cleared to appear in a game, his minutes would likely be limited. Ingram can provide solid fantasy value, which can be assumed even though we’ve yet to see him share the court with Scottie Barnes. However, injury issues will dent his value during draft season. Ingram has not exceeded 65 games since his rookie season.

Brandon Ingram (ankle) has progressed to doing some running and lateral footwork but has not been cleared for contact.
Ingram has yet to make his Raptors debut, and that will not change anytime soon. While he has progressed to doing some running and lateral footwork drills, the veteran forward has not been cleared for contact. With the Raptors due to provide another update on Ingram in ten days, there’s no need to stash him on fantasy rosters.

Brandon Ingram (ankle) is progressing in his recovery but remains limited to individual work.
At Ingram’s introductory press conference, it was made clear that ensuring he’s healthy for the start of the 2025-26 season is the priority in Toronto. While increasing his on-court activity, the veteran forward remains limited to individual work, and the Raptors will provide a status update in two weeks. Unless he can be stashed in an IL+ slot, fantasy managers should drop Ingram, especially if they can find a solid contributor on their league’s waiver wire.

Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic said Thursday that Brandon Ingram (ankle) is “not close” to returning to game action.
Ingram, who has not played in a game since December 7, was traded to Toronto at the February deadline and subsequently signed a three-year, $120 million deal. Unfortunately, he isn’t close to being healthy enough to return to game action. According to Rajakovic, Ingram has been limited to light shooting and upper-body work as he recovers from a sprained left ankle. Unless he can be stashed in an IL+ slot, there isn’t much need to roster Ingram in 12-team leagues, mainly since his minutes will likely be limited if he’s cleared to play before the end of the season.

Brandon Ingram (ankle) is without a timetable to return.
Ingram spoke with reporters for the first time since agreeing to a three-year contract extension with the Raptors. The 27-year-old small forward said he has no timetable to return to the court at the moment. Ingram seemed upbeat about his health situation, though he noted it will take time to get his conditioning together. Head coach Darko Rajakovic noted that they plan to re-evaluate Ingram in two-week intervals to keep an eye on his progression. However, Rajakovic acknowledged that they are “not even sure” if he will play this season. If he does return to action, Gradey Dick and Ochai Agbaji’s fantasy value will take a hit.

Brandon Ingram has agreed to a three-year extension, $120 million extension with the Raptors, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Ingram was traded to Toronto at the deadline, but he hasn’t made his debut for them yet. He hasn’t played since early December, and it’s unclear how much longer he will remain sidelined. Perhaps the $120 million extension will help accelerate his ankle’s recovery. He has a player option for the 2027-28 season, but Ingram is now tied to the Raptors for at least two more seasons. When he makes his return to the court, he should replace Gradey Dick in the starting lineup, which will result in fewer minutes for Ochai Agbaji.

Brandon Ingram (ankle) is out for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers.
Ingram, who has not appeared in a game since injuring his ankle on December 7, is not healthy enough to make his Raptors debut. When that will change is unknown, and the Raptors won’t be able to evaluate Ingram’s fit with Scottie Barnes until that happens. For now, fantasy managers should continue to stash BI in an IL+ slot.

Brandon Ingram (ankle) has been ruled out against the Rockets on Sunday.
BI was dealt to Toronto at the trade deadline, but prior to that, he had been sidelined since early December with a left ankle sprain. It’s unclear when he’ll make his debut for the Raptors, but he should play a significant role when he is healthy enough to suit up.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Pelicans have traded Brandon Ingram to the Raptors for Bruce Brown, Kelly Olynyk, a first-round pick, and a second-round pick.
Ingram, who has not played in a game since December 7, was not seen on the Pelicans’ bench during the second half of Wednesday’s loss in Denver. Sure enough, he’s on the move, joining a Raptors squad in a rebuild. Expecting anything from Ingram fantasy-wise would be unrealistic due to the time missed. He’s certainly capable of putting up numbers, and there may be some intrigue regarding the potential fit with Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley, and RJ Barrett. However, Ingram is also on an expiring contract, which would help Toronto free up money for free agency if he isn’t in the franchise’s plans beyond the rest of this season.
