Sam Cassell started at point guard again in Sunday’s loss to the Spurs and was held to two points, four rebounds and four assists.
After missing 12 games due to a calf injury, the veteran point guard is averaging 8.3 PPG in his past six contests. Reserve PG Brevin Knight wasn’t much more productive with three points and six assists. Cassell definitely has a better upside, but he’s going to be very up-and-down this season.
  • NBA Power Forward #20
Brandon Knight, Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokoumpo, Jabari Parker and John Henson are starting in Wednesday against the Wolves.
After coming off the bench in the preseason opener on Oct. 9, Jabari has started in every game since. We can probably pencil him in as the starter, but it’s still unclear if he starts at the three or the four. Regardless, his big upside will have fantasy owners’ attention in the fifth round, which means his prospective owners are passing on some great assets.
  • HOU Shooting Guard
Rockets signed guard Brandin Knight to a 10-day contract.
Knight was averaging 10.1 points and 5.5 assists in the NBDL. He’ll act as a reserve guard.
