    Stockton Kings coach Bobby Jackson will be joining the 76ers coaching staff.
    A fixture in the Kings organization for quite some time, Jackson most recently served as the head coach of the team’s G League affiliate. After two seasons on Michael Malone’s coaching staff in Sacramento, he served as a player development coach for the Timberwolves in 2013. Jackson served as head coach of the Stockton Kings each of the last two seasons.

    Jackson was injured Tuesday. A date for his operation hasn’t been determined yet. He’s expected to undergo 12 weeks of rehabilitation, but he may consider a second opinion about his recovery. Many of his minutes have already been eaten by a now-healthy Doug Christie. Matt Barnes, Maurice Evans, and rookie Kevin Martin should help cover for the loss of Jackson.
