Dyson Daniels stuffed the stat sheet on Thursday with 13 points (6-of-9 FGs), four rebounds, 11 assists, five steals, one block and one three-pointer against the Wizards.
Daniels did a little bit of everything in this game, including finishing with at least 10 assists for the sixth time this season. He also matched his season high for steals. His scoring is down this season, but over his last three games, he has averaged 8.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 2.7 steals per game. Daniels’ game is built for category leagues, and he’ll continue to provide plenty of boards, assists and steals for the rest of the year.
  • ATL Forward #24
Corey Kispert provided a boost off the bench with 33 points (11-of-19 FGs), six rebounds, one assist, one block and six three-pointers in a 126-96 win over the Wizards on Thursday.
Against his former team, Kispert got off to a scorching hot start, knocking down his first seven shots of the game. He cooled off after that, but he ended up setting a new career high for scoring in this game. Kispert was able to get revenge on the team that drafted him, but this shouldn’t change how managers view him. Leave him on the waiver wire.
  • ATL Guard #3
CJ McCollum lit up the Wizards with 25 points (9-of-19 FGs), six rebounds, three assists, one steal and two three-pointers on Thursday.
McCollum had one of his worst games as a Hawk against the Wizards on Tuesday, but he bounced back in this one. He scored 22 of his 25 points before halftime, which contributed to a second straight blowout win. McCollum has been a consistent source of offense for Atlanta, and he stepped up with Nickeil Alexander-Walker (foot) and Jalen Johnson (hip) sidelined for this ogame.
  • ATL Forward #0
Jonathan Kuminga started on Thursday and finished with 17 points (5-of-9 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer against the Wizards.
With Jalen Johnson (hip) sidelined, Kuminga made his first start as a Hawk in his second appearance for the team. He posted an efficient, well-rounded stat line in his 30 minutes. If Johnson ends up missing more time, Kuminga should remain in the starting unit and provide plenty of value. He has been excellent through two games with the Hawks, but he hasn’t been this efficient throughout his career. Still, the counting stats should be there.
  • ATL Forward #0
CJ McCollum, Dyson Daniels, Zaccharie Risacher, Jonathan Kuminga and Onyeka Okongwu will start against the Wizards on Thursday.
With Nickeil Alexander-Walker (foot) and Jalen Johnson (hip) both sidelined, Risacher and Kuminga will join the starting unit. Risacher has come off the bench the last two games after starting most of the year, while Kuminga will be making his second appearance and first start as a Hawk.
  • ATL Forward #10
Zaccharie Risacher (hip) is available to play against the Wizards on Thursday.
Risacher will be good to go despite initially being listed as questionable. He has come off the bench in Atlanta’s last two games, but with both Jalen Johnson (hip) and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (foot) sidelined, Risacher could return to the starting unit, though that won’t make him worth streaming.
  • Nickeil Alexander-Walker (foot) is out for Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
Alexander-Walker will miss Thursday’s game due to a sprained left foot. His absence opens up a spot in the Hawks’ starting lineup, with Keaton Wallace being one potential replacement. While he hasn’t been a great streamer this season, Wallace may be worth a look due to the matchup.
  • ATL Forward #1
Jalen Johnson (hip) has been downgraded to out for Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
Johnson suffered a hip injury in the first quarter of Tuesday’s game against the Wizards and will not play in the rematch. It makes sense since the Hawks should be able to beat the Wizards without Johnson. His absence should mean extra minutes and usage for Jonathan Kuminga, who looked great in his Hawks debut on Tuesday.
  • ATL Forward #10
Zaccharie Risacher (hip) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
Risacher is dealing with a right hip contusion. If he can’t go after logging 28 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Wizards, the Hawks would likely lean on Mouhamed Gueye a bit more, along with Jonathan Kuminga. Of the two, Kuminga is the one whom fantasy managers should seek on the waiver wire.
  • Nickeil Alexander-Walker (foot) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
Alexander-Walker has a sprained left foot, but the good news is that the door is open for him to play against the Wizards. If he can’t go, there will be more opportunities available to Gabe Vincent and Keaton Wallace, while Buddy Hield could move into the back end of the rotation.
