Alex Reese (Achilles) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Hawks.
Reese was forced to exit Wednesday’s win over the Wizards with what was announced as a strained right Achilles tendon. However, the 76ers have listed him as questionable for Friday due to right Achilles tendonitis. Reese is unlikely to impact active fantasy leagues if available, but playing would give him another opportunity to impress 76ers decision-makers ahead of the offseason.

Alex Reese (Achilles) finished Wednesday’s win over the Wizards with four points (1-of-2 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one three-pointer in 11 minutes.
Reese was unlikely to get the minutes needed to impact active fantasy leagues. Then, he suffered a strained right Achilles tendon, with the 76ers announcing he would not return during the fourth quarter. With only two games remaining in the 76ers’ season, the 11 minutes he played in D.C. may be the last Reese gets until Summer Leagues.
  • PHI Power Forward #65
Alex Reese (shoulder) is available for Friday’s game against the Pacers.
Reese was initially listed as questionable with a shoulder injury, but will ultimately be available Friday. With Paul George and Justin Edwards already ruled out, the 25-year-old forward could pick up extra minutes as well as possibly move into the starting lineup.
  • PHI Power Forward #65
Alex Reese (shoulder) is questionable to play against the Pacers on Friday.
After cracking the rotation and playing at least 15 minutes in three consecutive games, Reese has caught the injury bug that seems to be going around Philadelphia’s locker room. Ricky Council IV would likely take on extra minuets if Reese is sidelined despite the return of Guerschon Yabusele.
  • PHI Shooting Guard #16
Lonnie Walker IV (head) is out for the remainder of Wednesday’s game against the Raptors.
Walker fell and hit the back of his head on the court during the first half of Wednesday’s game. While he could walk back to the locker room under his own power, the 76ers wing did so slowly. Unsurprisingly, Walker’s night is over after less than a minute on the court. Ricky Council IV and Alex Reese will play more with Walker sidelined.
  • PHI Power Forward #15
76ers signed Alex Reese to a two-way contract.
Reese is the second player the 76ers have signed to a two-way deal this week, with David Roddy being the first. Undrafted out of Alabama, the 6-foot-9 forward averaged 19.3 points per game for the Rip City Remix this season. And Reese is a capable shooter, making 42.1 percent from beyond the arc. His fantasy value for the rest of the season will depend on Philadelphia’s approach; younger players will have more opportunities to contribute if the front office decides to pull the plug and focus on 2025-26.
  • FA Power Forward #15
The Thunder have signed Malevy Leons and subsequently waived Alex Reese.
Reese was signed to a non-guaranteed deal a few days before the start of the regular season, and he played a total of two minutes in a blowout win. Leons will likely play a similar role, which means this won’t have any fantasy impact.
  • OKC Power Forward #15
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Thunder have signed Alex Reese to a non-guaranteed, standard contract.
Injuries to Isaiah Hartenstein (hand) and Jaylin Williams (hamstring) have prompted Oklahoma City to make a signing. Reese, who was with the team during the preseason, will stick on a non-guaranteed, standard contract. The former Alabama forward has had quite the journey, stepping away from basketball after four college seasons before returning to play overseas. Reese’s signing will not impact fantasy basketball.
