Alex Len intends to re-sign with the Kings on a one-year, $3.3 million deal, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Len will be back in Sacramento for a fourth season, but he won’t be more than a depth piece off the bench. Len has ranked outside the top-300 for the last three years, and that won’t change this upcoming season.
  • SAC Center #25
Alex Len (illness) is not on the injury report ahead of Monday’s matchup with Miami.
Len should be available to play on Monday after sitting out on Sunday, but he isn’t a large part of their rotation when he is healthy. His availability won’t have an impact on fantasy basketball.
  • SAC Center #25
Alex Len (illness) will not be available for Sunday’s game against the Clippers.
Len’s absence will not impact fantasy basketball, as he hasn’t been guaranteed rotation minutes when starting center Domantas Sabonis has been available.

Domantas Sabonis (illness) has been upgraded to questionable for Thursday’s game against the Spurs.
Things are trending in the right direction for Sabonis, who was listed as doubtful on the initial injury report. His absence would push JaVale McGee or Alex Len into the starting lineup, with reserve forward Trey Lyles also experiencing an increase in playing time. Of the three, Lyles would be the most valuable to fantasy managers if Sabonis cannot play.

Domantas Sabonis (illness) is officially doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Spurs.
After not participating in Wednesday’s practice, Sabonis is officially listed as doubtful for Thursday’s game. Should he sit, Alex Len and JaVale McGee will figure more prominently in the rotation. More minutes will also be available to Trey Lyles, who has the highest streaming upside of the three. Another player who would benefit is De’Aaron Fox, as even more playmaking responsibilities will fall upon his shoulders.

Domantas Sabonis (illness) did not practice on Wednesday.
Sabonis’ status for Thursday’s game against San Antonio is up in the air, but his absence from practice on Wednesday isn’t an encouraging sign. If he has to sit out, Trey Lyles, Alex Len and JaVale McGee will be the options down low. While they will all see larger roles than usual, on a 12-game day, there will likely be better options to stream in place of Sabonis.

Malik Monk (right foot irritation) and Alex Len (high right ankle sprain) are available for Tuesday’s game against Portland.
Monk’s status is more impactful to fantasy basketball and the Kings’ rotation, as he’s been one of the top bench scorers in the NBA this season. His return to action means Chris Duarte will drop back out of the rotation, eliminating his already-low fantasy value. As for Len, his return means fewer opportunities for JaVale McGee, but neither is worth rostering while starter Domantas Sabonis is healthy.

Alex Len (high right ankle sprain) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Len has been sidelined since November 13, when he injured his ankle during the Kings’ win over Cleveland. While he’s likely to jump JaVale McGee in the rotation once cleared to play, this is unlikely to impact fantasy basketball. Starting center Domantas Sabonis averages 34.8 minutes per game, ranking 20th in the NBA.

Alex Len (high right ankle sprain) to be sidelined six to eight weeks.
Len will be sidelined until January, which means that JaVale McGee should fill out the center minutes behind Domantas Sabonis. That doesn’t leave much of an opportunity to put up numbers, so McGee won’t be worth rostering in nearly any format.

Alex Len has been diagnosed with a high right ankle sprain and will not play in Wednesday’s game against the Lakers.
Len was injured during the first half of Monday’s win over the Cavaliers. His absence opens up minutes for JaVale McGee, who hasn’t been a consistent rotation member. With Domantas Sabonis being healthy, McGee is unlikely to get the minutes needed to be an effective streamer. As for Len, the Kings will update his status after Wednesday’s game.
