Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, Will Richard, Gui Santos and Al Horford will start Wednesday’s game against the Grizzlies.
The Warriors won’t have Draymond Green for Wednesday’s game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Horford fills the void after not playing in Tuesday’s loss to the Pelicans. The other changes are Podziemski and Richard, who step in for De’Anthony Melton and Pat Spencer. While Spencer is available, Melton is out.
  • GSW Forward #23
Draymond Green (back) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Green is officially out after the Warriors listed him as questionable on the initial injury report. Al Horford is available after missing Tuesday’s loss to the Pelicans, and he should slot in as the starting center.
  • GSW Center-Forward #20
Al Horford (toe) is not on the injury report against the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
Horford missed the first leg of this back-to-back but will return to take on Memphis. He started in his most recent appearance and was excellent in 27 minutes. He should be productive once again if he continues to start with Kristaps Porziņģis (illness) still sidelined.
  • GSW Forward #23
Draymond Green (back) is probable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Pelicans.
Green sat out Sunday’s win over the Nuggets, but he’s expected to return following a one-game absence. He should see plenty of run with both Al Horford (toe) and Kristaps Porziņģis (illness) ruled out.
  • GSW Center-Forward #20
Al Horford (toe) is out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Pelicans.
The veteran doesn’t play back-to-backs, so his absence for the frontend of Golden State’s Tuesday-Wednesday set isn’t surprising. With Kristaps Porziņģis (illness) also out, Quinten Post should see plenty of playing time in the Warriors’ frontcourt.
  • GSW Forward-Center #7
ESPN’s Anthony Slater reports that Kristaps Porziņģis (illness) is out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Pelicans and Wednesday’s matchup with the Grizzlies.
Porziņģis will be sidelined for a second and third straight game as Golden State completes a quick back-to-back set against New Orleans and Memphis. It’s unclear when KP will return, but Al Horford and Quinten Post should continue to soak up minutes in his absence.
  • GSW Center-Forward #20
Al Horford had 22 points (8-of-11 FGs), one rebound, seven assists, three steals, two blocks and six three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Nuggets.
Horford moved into the starting lineup with Draymond Green being a late scratch due to a back injury. It’s a shame that news wasn’t available earlier because Horford had a monster game in Green’s absence. The 39-year-old power forward made six three-pointers on his way to 22 points. He also had seven assists and three steals and two blocks on the defensive end. Horford could be worth streaming if Green is unable to make it back for Tuesday’s game against the Pelicans.
  • GSW Forward #23
Draymond Green (back) is out for Sunday’s game against the Nuggets.
In a rough turn of events for fantasy managers who have Green rostered, he has been scratched after the Warriors announced him as a starter. Al Horford is the replacement in the starting lineup, but he can’t help fantasy managers in the short term, as the announcement was made right at the listed 3:30 PM Eastern tip time.
  • GSW Forward-Center #7
Kristaps Porziņģis (illness) has been downgraded to out against the Nuggets on Sunday.
Porziņģis was added with an illness about 30 minutes prior to this and was deemed questionable. Now that he is officially out, Quinten Post should return to the rotation and fill the backup minutes at center alongside Al Horford.
  • GSW Forward-Center #7
Kristaps Porziņǵis finished Thursday’s loss to the Celtics with 12 points (5-of-9 FGs), one rebound, one assist, one block and two three-pointers.
Not only was Thursday’s game the first for Porziņǵis in a Warriors’ uniform, but it was his first since January 7. The forward/center came off the bench against the Celtics, shooting the ball well in his 17 minutes of play. While fantasy managers will have hoped for more rebounding and shot blocking from Porziņǵis, his being on the court should be good enough for now. With Al Horford (5/8/4 with one block and one three-pointer) playing 27 minutes off the bench, there was no room in the rotation for Quinten Post, who picked up a DNP-CD.
