NASCAR indefinitely suspended Brian Allen, the motorhome driver for Xfinity Series driver Brian Scott, for his actions in a postrace altercation after the Sept. 26 race at Kentucky Speedway.
Darrell Wallace Jr. and Brian Scott’s wife, Whitney, also were placed on probation through Dec. 31 because of the incident.
In a penalty release, NASCAR said these were behavioral infractions for Sections 12.1 and 7.5 of its rulebook. Section 12.1 covers general guidelances for issuance of penalties, Section 7.5 states:
Brian Scott and Darrell Wallace Jr. feuded postrace after making contact in a restart at Kentucky. Scott went to Wallace’s Ford and leaned into the cockpit, and the pair exchanged words again after Wallace exited the car.
