Matt Crafton earns second Truck pole of year for Las Vegas race

With a speed of 176.396 mph Matt Crafton earned the pole for the Camping World Truck Series’ Rhino Linings 350 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Crafton, the only driver to top 176 mph, grabbed the ninth pole of his Truck series career.

Starting beside the No. 88 truck is the No. 05 of John Wes Townley. His speed of 175.758 mpg gives him only his second front-row start on his career. The first came in 2008 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Filling out the top five is Brandon Jones (175.678), Timothy Peters (175.490) and Christopher Bell (175.308), who won the race at Eldora Speedway.

Erik Jones qualified 15th.
