Kaz Grala announced on social media Tuesday night that he’s no longer with JGL Racing.
A team spokesperson told NBC Sports that the team is shutting down the No. 24 ride for the time being because of lack of sponsorship.
The 19-year-old Grala is a rookie in the Xfinity Series. He finished fourth in his Xfinity debut at Daytona. Grala’s best finish after that was 12th at Phoenix. He is 19th in the points standings.
Well, unfortunately I’m out of a ride 😪 but hopefully the old saying holds true... when one door closes, another opens. I hope to be back in an @XfinityRacing car sometime soon. I love what I do! pic.twitter.com/I1wgT2ZDfl

Just think about this. I got fired after 7 races in 1983 and struggled for a while before Jack Roush came calling. If you keep digging things will work out. https://t.co/rNWTxpDgLf
