Kasey Kahne announced on Twitter that he and girlfriend Sam Sheets were parents early Tuesday morning with the arrival of a baby boy.
Tanner Lee Kahne was born at 1:11 am according to Kahne’s tweet.
I officially became a dad at 1:11 AM to Tanner Lee Kahne. Mom and tanner are doing great. On no sleep but we can't put this little guy down

Kahne joins Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch as Sprint Cup drivers who have become fathers during the course of the season.
Because of Tanner’s arrival, the Hendrick Motorsports driver wasn’t able to make the team’s weekly competition meeting this morning, as noted by general manager Doug Duchardt.
