Daniel Hemric, who will join Brad Keselowski Racing next season, topped his future teammate in Friday’s lone truck practice at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Hemric had a best lap around the 1.5-mile South Florida track of 168.908 mph. Reddick, meanwhile, was second-fastest at 168.824 mph.
Spencer Gallagher was third-fastest (168.418), two-time defending Truck champ Matt Crafton was fourth (167.452) and current points leader Erik Jones was fifth (167.447).
Jones leads a 19-point lead over Reddick heading into tonight’s championship-deciding Ford EcoBoost 200.
Austin Theriault, competing for the first time since a wicked wreck at Las Vegas on Oct. 3 left him with a compression fracture in his lower back, appeared very comfortable in his comeback. Theriault had the 11th-fastest speed at 166.950 mph.
Qualifying takes place at 4 pm ET this afternoon, and the season-ending and championship-deciding race takes the green flag at 8 pm ET tonight.
