Tickets to next month’s races at Daytona International Speedway will have a unique look.
To commemorate the completion of the $400 million Daytona Rising grandstand renovation project, the track has issued lenticular tickets that show two different images. One image shows a scene from the track’s inaugural Daytona 500. Tilt the ticket and a more modern picture emerges.
These tickets are for the Sprint Unlimited and ARCA Lucas Oil 200 (Feb. 13), the Can-Am Duel qualifying races (Feb. 18), the NextEra Energy Resources 250 Camping World Truck Series race (Feb. 19), the PowerShares QQQ 300 Xfinity Series race (Feb. 20) and the Daytona 500 (Feb. 21).
These tickets will be sent to anyone who purchased them before Jan. 1. If you purchase tickets now - tickets remain available for each event - fans will get a regular paper ticket. Anyone who purchases a Daytona 500 ticket now will get a paper ticket but will receive the commemorative ticket after the event.
NBC Sports has acquired images of each of the tickets. Here they are:
