Erik Jones led a Kyle Busch Motorsports sweep of the top spots with a win in the Camping World Truck Series’ WinStar World Casino & Resort 350 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Jones led 117 of the race’s 147 laps on the way to his his third Truck victory of the year, which started a tripleheader weekend for the driver, as he competes in the Xfinity and Sprint Cup races.

Behind Jones was teammate Daniel Suarez, who also finished second in the summer race at Texas.

“This season here at Texas has been really good,” said Jones, who also won at the 1.5-mile track in the Xfinity Series in April. “The first time we came here I didn’t really like the place. Then after that I went to work trying to figure out how to get around here and I got better and better and it’s probably become one of my favorite mile and a halves that we come to.”

Jones has led 119 laps in his three NASCAR races at Texas this season.

The seventh Truck win of Jones’ career comes five races after his last win at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. His first win of the season came at Iowa Speedway. The No. 4 Toyota hadn’t finished higher than fourth in the last five races.

“Getting the win here is a nice boost for everybody, not just myself, but everybody at KBM” Jones said. “We kind of needed this to get back on track. We kind of struggled the last month and a half to get back to this point.”

With two races left, Jones leads the driver standings with a 17-point advantage over Matt Crafton, who started from the pole and finished fourth.
