While he’ll miss the remainder of the NASCAR Sprint Cup season recovering from concussion-like symptoms, Dale Earnhardt Jr. still has to feed his need for speed – and he did Friday.
Earnhardt was an interested observer during the first of two days of qualifying for the NHRA’s Carolina Nationals drag race at zMAX Dragway, across the street from a place Earnhardt is more familiar with: Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Needless to say, and no matter how he tried to just blend in, Earnhardt obviously drew a lot of attention.
