Corey LaJoie will pay homage to the late Davey Allison in the Sept. 3 Bojangles’ Southern 500 NASCAR Cup throwback race at Darlington Raceway.
In a press conference at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Tuesday afternoon, LaJoie and BK Racing revealed the paint scheme of the No. 23 Toyota Camry.
The scheme bears a strong resemblance to Allison’s Miller High Life Pontiac that he ran in 1984 in the NASCAR Busch Series (now Xfinity Series).
Davey Allison’s father, NASCAR Hall of Famer Bobby Allison, was on hand for the reveal announcement.
