Ty Majeski pulled away from the rest of the field on the final restart and scored his first career victory in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race Thursday night at Bristol Motor Speedway.
The win earned Majeski, 28, a spot in the Truck Championship 4. He’ll race for the series title in the season finale Nov. 4 at Phoenix.

Majeski led the final 45 laps. Following him at the finish were Zane Smith, Parker Kligerman, Grant Enfinger and Matt Crafton.
Below the playoff cut line entering the second race in the round are John Hunter Nemechek, Christian Eckes, Enfinger and Ben Rhodes.

Who had a good race: Ty Majeski picked a good day to score his first series victory. With two races left in the Round of 8, he has punched his ticket to the championship race in Phoenix. ... Pit strategy was key in Zane Smith finishing second. ... Chandler Smith dominated much of the race, leading 89 laps, claiming the first two stages and finishing ninth. ... Derek Kraus won the pole and finished sixth.
Who had a bad race: Ben Rhodes was 18th, the worst finish by a playoff contender. ... Reaume Brothers Racing stated that Josh Reaume was taken to Bristol Regional Medical Center for precautionary CT scans. He was diagnosed with a concussion and will follow up with a neurologist to confirm no further injury. He has been discharged from the hospital.
