Greg Biffle picked up some momentum heading into Saturday night's Coke Zero 400 by earning the pole position on Friday.

Pole sitter Greg Biffle (192.955 mph) and Carl Edwards (192.748 mph) will start from the front row in Saturday night’s Coke Zero 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

“It means a lot (to earn the pole) but what means more to us is all these other teams coming up and congratulating us,” Biffle told NBCSN. “We’ve been working really, really hard ... and I’m just really excited to be driving this car.”

It’s Biffle’s second Sprint Cup pole at Daytona, where he notched the first victory of his career in July 2003.

Kyle Busch, who was uninjured after a wicked wreck during Friday morning’s practice, bounced back in qualifying in a backup car with the third-fastest speed (192.336 mph).

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (192.320 mph) and Brad Keselowski (192.254 mph) rounded out the top five in qualifying.

Here’s how the session played out:
