Jones

Jones has been dealing with a foot injury for a year now, and will finally get surgery this week that will cause him to miss the rest of the season. Jones hasn’t seen much action due to the aforementioned injury, and with the Aggies season collapsing it’s no surprise to see players opting for surgery now.

With the ejection occurring late in the fourth quarter, Jones will also be forced to sit out the first half of Texas A&M’s Nov. 17 game against UAB. After accounting for 35 total tackles and one interception as a freshman, the sophomore entered Saturday’s game with just two tackles and two passes defensed in eight appearances.
