  • First Baseman #16
Mets acquired 1B Tyler White from the Twins for cash considerations.
White hasn’t appeared in the majors since the 2019 campaign and is merely organizational filler at this stage of his career. The 32-year-old journeyman is hitting .259/.386/.414 with two homers across 70 plate appearances in 16 games this season at the Triple-A level.

  • MLB Catcher #44
Twins reassigned C Grayson Greiner and David Bañuelos, RHP Oliver Ortega, INF’s Elliot Soto and Tyler White and OF Ryan LaMarre to minor league camp.
No real surprises in the latest round of cuts for Minnesota as they trim their camp roster to just 39 player. Greiner and Ortega are the most likely to appear for the Twins this season.

  • First Baseman #16
Twins signed 1B Tyler White to a minor league contract.
White hasn’t appeared in the majors since getting into 83 games between the Dodgers and Astros back in 2019. The 32-year-old veteran first baseman hit .230/.357/.412 with 16 home runs and five steals in 437 plate appearances over 103 games last year at the Triple-A level. He’s merely organizational depth at this stage of his career.

  • First Baseman #16
Braves acquired 1B Tyler White from the Brewers for cash considerations.
A reminder that the only players who can be dealt after the trade deadline are those who didn’t spend any time on that team’s 40-man roster. White was signed to a minor league contract in December, and hit .230/.357/.431 in his 325 plate appearances with Triple-A Nashville. He provides a potential bench option in the summer months, but isn’t likely to make any sort of impact.

  • PHI Left Fielder #31
Brewers optioned C/INF Brett Sullivan to Triple-A Nashville; reassigned OF’s David Dahl, Abraham Almonte and Jonathan Davis, LHP Rex Brothers, INF/OF Mark Mathias, INF Brice Turang and 1B Tyler White to minor league camp.
The latest batch of cuts from Brewers’ major-league spring training include a pair of Opening Day hopefuls in Dahl and Almonte, who might’ve had a shot at making the roster as reserve outfielders. They’ll open the 2022 campaign in the upper minors as valuable extra position player depth.

  • First Baseman #16
Brewers signed 1B Tyler White to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Yet another NRI signing for Milwaukee. White showed a lot of promise in the early part of his MLB career with the Astros and put up a .900 OPS with 13 home runs and 65 RBI over 105 games for the Triple-A affiliate of the Blue Jays in 2021. Maybe he can climb back to the majors in 2022.

  • MIL Relief Pitcher #31
Blue Jays optioned Joel Payamps, SS Santiago Espinal, OF Joshua Palacios and C Riley Adams and also reassigned RHP Dany Jimenez, INF Kevin Smith, SS Richard Urena, OF Forrest Wall, 1B Tyler White and LHP Kirby Snead to minor-league camp.
The Blue Jays have 37 players left on their big-league spring training roster. The most notable name on this list would be Payamps, who has shuttled between the Jays and Red Sox numerous times through waivers this offseason.

  • First Baseman #16
Blue Jays signed 1B Tyler White to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
White spent some time with the SK Wyverns of the Korea Baseball Organization this past season, batting .136/.367/.318 with one home run over 30 plate appearances. The 30-year-old owns a .236/.315/.409 batting line in the majors -- mostly with the Astros -- and will serve as organizational depth going into the spring.

  • First Baseman #16
Daniel Kim reports that Tyler White is finalizing a contract with the SK Wyverns of the Korea Baseball Organization.
White was in spring training with the Dodgers but was not included in their 60-man player pool. The former Astro will now try his luck overseas.

  • First Baseman #16
Dodgers sent 1B Tyler White outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
White will be a non-roster invitee at spring training. The first baseman was removed from the 40-man roster after the blockbuster trade with the Red Sox that brought Mookie Betts and David Price to the Dodgers.
