Trea Turner went 3-for-5 and drove in a pair of runs on Sunday night, propelling the Phillies to a 3-1 victory over the Cubs at Wrigley Field.
Turner got the Phillies on the board in the third inning with an RBI single off of Jameson Taillon that plated Bryson Stott. He then strolled to the dish with the bases loaded and one out in the 10th inning, and hit a slow roller to third base that he beat out at first to bring in another run. With his three-hit attack, the 31-year-old infielder is now slashing .262/.345/.330 on the season with just one homer, nine RBI and six stolen bases.

Trea Turner went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base against the Marlins on Sunday.
Turner singled, stole second and scored on a two-run double by Bryce Harper in the first inning. The 31-year-old shortstop already has six steals after recording just 19 stolen bases in 2024. Turner’s .364 OBP would be his best in a season since 2021. He’s stolen at least 30 bases in a season six times in his career and seems primed to do it once again.

Trea Turner went 4-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a steal as the Phillies held off the Marlins 11-10 on Saturday.
The Phillies were up 9-1 after five and 11-4 after eight before barely hanging on. Turner had as many hits today as in his previous seven games combined. His steal was also his first in 11 days; he’d been caught on his last two attempts.

Trea Turner went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run and two runs scored in a win over the Braves on Wednesday.
Turner took a ninth-inning pitch from Raisel Iglesias and hit it 402 feet at 101.4 mph to break a 3-3 tie. It’s Turner’s third home run off of Iglesias despite only having eight total at-bats against him in his career. It was Turner’s first home run of the season. Despite the spring discussion of having Turner lead off and run more, the 31-year-old has settled in as the two-hitter in Philadelphia. However, he has still accumulated four steals on the season to go with his one home run, which fantasy managers love.

Trea Turner went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored on Friday, helping to lead the Phillies to a 3-2 victory over the visiting Dodgers.
The Phillies’ leadoff man doubled off of Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the opening inning, swiped third base and scored the game’s first run on a throwing error. He also worked a walk to lead off the sixth inning. The dynamic 31-year-old shortstop is still searching for his first home run of the season but is now hitting .313 (5-for-16) with a pair of runs scored, one RBI and two stolen bases.

Trea Turner (back) is in the starting lineup for Wednesday’s game against the Rockies.
Turner will be making his first start since Opening Day after dealing with back spasms. The 31-year-old should be in lineups for Wednesday’s tilt against Kyle Freeland and the Rockies.

Trea Turner (back) walked and scored a run as a pinch-hitter on Monday against the Rockies.
Turner came off the bench to pinch-hit in the seventh inning, his first appearance since Opening Day due to back spasms. The 31-year-old shortstop expressed optimism prior to Monday’s series opener that he would be ready to play by Wednesday, but clearly felt well enough to help out in a close ballgame. It’s a welcome development for fantasy managers as they attempt to navigate the avalanche of early-season injuries.

Trea Turner took grounders on the field Monday and hopes to play Wednesday against the Rockies.
Turner is sitting out a third straight game today with back spasms. Edmundo Sosa is filling in at shortstop.

Trea Turner (back) is not expected to return to the Phillies’ lineup until Wednesday.
Phillies’ skipper Rob Thomson told reporters on Sunday that the team plans to give Trea Turner an extra day off on Monday — which would give him three straight days of rest with Tuesday’s off-day — before returning to the lineup on Wednesday. It’s right for them to take a cautious approach here and make sure that he’s feeling better before throwing him back into action, rather than risking re-injury and a potential long-term issue.

Turner was a late scratch for Saturday’s game due to back spasms. The 31-year-old shortstop wasn’t even in the initial lineup for the Phillies on Sunday. Edmundo Sosa is batting sixth and playing shortstop against Washington left-hander Mitchell Parker.
