    The 28-year-old hurler has posted a troublesome 11.66 ERA, 1.98 WHIP and a 15/6 K/BB ratio over 14 2/3 innings with the Padres this season and was especially brutal his last time out — giving up four runs in just 1/3 of an inning. No word yet on how long he will be shelved for. Austin Davis had his contract selected from Triple-A El Paso in a corresponding move on Friday.

The 28-year-old southpaw has been hit exceptionally hard in 10 appearances out of the Padres’ bullpen this season, posting a 10.50 ERA, 1.83 WHIP and a 13/5 K/BB ratio across 12 innings. Adam Mazur was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move on Friday.
