Ted Lilly will be available out of the bullpen this weekend.
Lilly will remain in the rotation to start one of the four games against Minnesota after the break.

Ted Lilly’s next start has been pushed back to Wednesday.
Lilly is just getting some extra rest and will not start twice this week as a result. Adjust your fantasy rotation accordingly.

Ted Lilly will start twice for the Blue Jays this week.
After having today’s game cancelled due to due Hurrican Jeanne, the Jays have shuffled their rotation for the last week of the season. Roy Halladay will start Monday and Saturday, with rookie Gustavo Chacin pitching on Wednesday and Josh Towers and David Bush starting Thursday and Friday. Lilly will pitch on Tuesday and Sunday so he is worth having active in the last week of the season.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher
LHP Ted Lilly will face the A’s tonight for the first time since he was traded to the Blue Jays for Bobby Kielty in November.
Lilly has had a solid season for Toronto. Kielty has been a bust for Oakland. A’s GM Billy Beane doesn’t lose many trades but he may have done so here.

Ted Lilly did some long-tossing yesterday despite his sore left wrist.
Manager Carlos Tosca said earlier this week that Lilly was hurt working out, but he actually injured the wrist while moving his television before arriving at spring training. It’s uncertain when he’ll be ready to begin throwing to hitters.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher
Ted Lilly has a sore left wrist and didn’t participate in all of the fielding workouts for pitchers yesterday.
Lilly is day-to-day. “It’s a minor setback,” manager Carlos Tosca said. “He hurt himself working out.”

Because of Monday’s off day, Ted Lilly’s next start was pushed back to Saturday at Chicago.
Due to the emergence of Rich Harden, Lilly is now Oakland’s fifth starter and that will result in the occasional skipped turn. Fortunately, the A’s don’t have too many off days over the rest of the season.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher
Single-A pitcher Joe Blanton appears to be the sticking point on a deal that would send Ted Lilly to Toronto.
The A’s are not willing to part with Blanton as part of a deal to acquire Kelvim Escobar from the Jays. The A’s also may be more in the market for a reliever with Jim Mecir sidelined.

LHP Ted Lilly has ‘shut it down’ until at least this weekend because of a sore left wrist.
Manager Carlos Tosca didn’t rule out the possibility that the injury could sideline Lilly for an extended period of time. The situation is wait and see for now.

Ted Lilly (arm) will play long toss today and see how his arm feels.
He’s out with biceps tendinitis and is still a week away from returning.
