Scott returns to Houston’s relief corps after bouncing around between a couple different organizations this season. The well-traveled 33-year-old compiled a stellar 2.23 ERA across a career-high 68 2/3 innings (62 appearances) last year for the Astros. He’ll operate in low-leverage spots.

Scott will remain with Arizona as extra organizational relief depth on the doorstep of the majors. The 33-year-old passed through waivers over the weekend after being designated for assignment after just six appearances for the Diamondbacks.

The 32-year-old held his own over his three frames with four strikeouts, and his ERA on the year is now an impressive 1.37. He’s a solid option in leagues that offer holds, but Scott doesn’t have a fantasy relevant role if that stat isn’t available.
