Dodgers signed RHP Stephen Ridings to a minor league contract.
Ridings represents an intriguing low-risk dice roll for the Dodgers since he’s barely pitched over the last three seasons due to injury and was out of affiliated ball completely last year when he made nine appearances (seven starts) for the High Point Rockers of the independent Atlantic League. He’s the textbook definition of a lottery ticket relief project that could pay off, if he manages to stay remotely healthy.
