  • OAK Catcher #23
Shea Langeliers walloped a three-run homer on Saturday, lifting the Athletics to a 3-1 victory over the Angels.
Langeliers connected for a three-run homer -- his 20th big fly of the season -- off Angels starter Tyler Anderson in the opening frame, which wound up being enough run support in this one for Oakland starter Mitch Spence and a trio of relievers. The 26-year-old slugging backstop doesn’t offer much besides power and counting stats, but the fact that he’s probably going to eclipse the 30-homer threshold puts him on mixed-league radar screens until further notice.
  • OAK Catcher #23
Shea Langeliers homered and drove in three runs in a blowout win over the Orioles on Saturday.
Langeliers hit a two-run blast in the third inning to make it a 12-0 game. You’re not reading that wrong. The backstop also drove in one of the Athletics’ 19 runs — again, not a typo — with a single in the second. Langeliers has homered 17 times while driving in 45 runs in the first half of the 2024 campaign. Not too shabby.

Shea Langeliers homered and stole a base in the Athletics’ 9-4 win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.
Langeliers isn’t exactly known for his speed, but he was able to procure his third steal of the season. The power is a little more readily apparent, and he hit one of three homers in the ninth inning for the A’s to give him 15 on the year and Oakland an 8-4 lead. Langeliers will never be a big helper in the average category, but there just might be enough run-production to make him a starting fantasy catcher someday.
  • OAK Catcher #23
Shea Langeliers hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth to give the Athletics a 6-5 win over the Twins on Friday.
With the A’s trailing 5-4, Langeliers took Jhoan Duran deep to give Oakland a 6-5 lead and ultimately the victory. He drove in another run with a single to center in the fifth. Langeliers shows the potential to be a long-term catching option for fantasy teams, but his .207 average makes him a tough sell in one-catcher formats.
  • OAK Catcher #23
Shea Langeliers belted the first grand slam of his big-league career on Friday night, unfortunately it came in a losing effort against the Twins.
The 26-year-old backstop got the Athletics’ offense started with a bang on Friday night, tagging Simeon Woods Richardson for a 408-foot (102.8 mph EV) four-run blast on the first pitch that he saw in the first inning. That would be hit only hit on the night, finishing the evening 1-for-5.
  • OAK Catcher #23
Shea Langeliers went 2-for-5 with a double and a two-run home run against the Rays on Thursday.
Langeliers isn’t going to provide a good average as he’s now hitting .211 on the season, but he has decent power for a catcher. The home run was his 12th of the season and he now has 29 RBI.
  • OAK Catcher #23
Shea Langeliers is back in the Athletics lineup, batting fourth against the Royals on Friday.
Langeliers had a routine day off on Thursday night against the Astros, but he’s back in the lineup on Friday. His average is just .218, but he has nine home runs and 24 RBI in 133 at-bats this season.

Shea Langeliers went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and five RBI, powering the Athletics to a 9-4 win over the Rangers in the opening contest of Wednesday’s doubleheader.
Langeliers blasted a go-ahead two-run shot off Rangers starter Michael Lorenzen in the second inning before adding a two-run double in the fourth inning and an RBI triple a couple frames later to cap off a stellar five-RBI performance. He’ll presumably be back at designated hitter for the nightcap of Wednesday’s twin bill after catching the front-end of the doubleheader.

Shea Langeliers went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI against the Marlins in Saturday.
Langeliers tripled in the second inning and scored the first run of the game on a base hit by Darell Hernaiz. He added a single to lead off the seventh and came around to score on a double by JJ Bleday. With the game already out of hand, he made it 20 runs for Oakland with a three-run homer in the eighth inning. The 26-year-old slugger is batting .186/.246/.441 with seven homers and 16 RBI across 114 plate appearances.

Shea Langeliers crushed three homers on Tuesday, leading the Athletics to a 4-3 comeback victory over the Rangers.
Unreal. Langeliers put together one of the most memorable nights of his career in this one, taking Rangers ace Nathan Eovaldi deep in the second inning before going deep off relievers David Robertson and José Leclerc in the seventh and ninth innings, respectively. It was his first-career three-homer performance and just his third-ever multi-homer effort.
