Ryan Pepiot allowed two runs — one earned — in four innings against the Red Sox on Sunday.
Pepiot threw 63 pitches in his final start, with 38 of them landing for strikes. It was a decent outing and overall a successful season for the right-hander after coming over from the Dodgers, and he finishes with a 3.63 ERA and 142/48 K/BB after walking two and striking out five vs. Boston. Pepiot should take another step forward in 2025, and deserves a roster spot on fantasy rosters in the majority of leagues.

Ryan Pepiot was outdueled by Tarik Skubal on Tuesday, allowing two runs over five innings in a loss to the Tigers.
Pepiot struck out six. He allowed just three hits, but two of those got mixed in with two walks in the two-run fifth inning. Pepiot dropped to 8-7 with a 3.64 ERA. He’s in like to start the finale against the Red Sox on Sunday, but that could change.

Ryan Pepiot gave up just two hits and one run with 12 strikeouts over six brilliant innings in a no-decision on Wednesday against the Red Sox.
This start was a great reminder of how high Pepiot’s ceiling still is. Striking out 12 batters in six innings is downright disgusting. Doing it with only 76 pitches is pure madness. His fastball forced 15 swings-and-misses on its own and was visually stunning as Boston’s batters continued to miss it at the top of the zone. His lone blemish came on a Trevor Story solo home run off a fastball that caught a little too much of the heart of the plate, but all in all this was a gem to the highest degree. He’s scheduled to face the Tigers in Detroit in his next start.

Ryan Pepiot went two innings and allowed two runs in a no-decision against the Guardians on Thursday.
There was some concern that Pepiot might have picked up an injury, but the early report is that it was just Kevin Cash’s decision to pull the 27-year-old after 38 pitches. He wasn’t particularly effective in those two innings with four hits allowed, two walks and one strikeout. Pepiot is scheduled to face the Red Sox on Wednesday, but it seems plausible he may not make that start.

Ryan Pepiot allowed one run with four strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings in a win over the Orioles on Saturday.
Pepiot was excellent on Saturday, holding a tough Orioles lineup to just one run into the sixth inning. He had tossed five scoreless before Cedric Mullins took him deep for a solo homer. The 27-year-old right-hander will take a 3.66 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and a 118/40 K/BB ratio across 113 innings into a start against the Guardians in Cleveland on Thursday.

Ryan Pepiot allowed four hits and three runs with four walks and four strikeouts in three-plus innings on Sunday against the Padres in a no-decision.
This was a slog for Pepiot. The Padres made him work hard in every at-bat and he was chased in the fourth inning after allowing a single, home run, another single, and a walk without retiring a batter. He didn’t force a single swing out of the zone on his changeup which forced him to rely too heavily on his fastball which the Padres hit hard. Pepiot will try to right the ship in his scheduled start against the Orioles in Baltimore.

Ryan Pepiot struck out six while allowing five runs — two earned — in six innings to pick up a loss to the Rays on Monday.
Pepiot gave up a solo homer to Jorge Polanco in the second, but it was third inning that derailed the right-hander; not all of it being his fault. Jose Caballero committed an error with two outs, Cal Raleigh hit a ball that went from foul to fair after hitting a bag, and then Randy Arozarena hit a three-run homer. The last part is his doing, the rest? Tough to blame. Pepiot will be back on the mound Sunday against the Padres.

Ryan Pepiot allowed two runs with five strikeouts over six innings in a win over the Athletics on Wednesday.
Pepiot served up a solo homer to JJ Bleday in the first inning, then settled in to fire four scoreless innings before the A’s brought one more run in to score in the sixth. Pepiot allowed three hits and one walk in all and struck out five batters. The 27-year-old right-hander will take a 3.65 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and a 104/33 K/BB ratio across 98 2/3 innings into a start against the Mariners in Seattle on Monday.

Ryan Pepiot allowed two unearned runs over 5 1/3 innings Friday in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks.
Pepiot struck out five and walked none in his first outing back after missing a month with a knee infection. He’s allowed two runs or fewer in 11 of his 18 starts this year, and he should continue to offer some mixed-league value the rest of the way.

Rays activated RHP Ryan Pepiot from the 15-day injured list.
As anticipated, the 26-year-old right-hander will make his triumphant return to the Rays’ rotation on Friday evening against the Diamondbacks. Before missing nearly a month’s worth of action due to a knee infection that he got from a spider bite, Pepiot had registered a 3.92 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and a 94/31 K/BB ratio over 87 1/3 innings of work through his first 17 starts. Fantasy managers should start him with confidence on Friday — even against the Diamondbacks.
