Rockies signed OF Roman Quinn to a minor league contract.
Quinn has yet to appear in the majors this season and has spent time with both the Brewers and Guardians at the minor-league level. The 30-year-old journeyman speedster provides Colorado with some extra outfield depth over the final two months of the year.
  • Center Fielder #4
    Brewers released OF Roman Quinn.
Quinn hasn’t appeared in the majors this year and wound up being cut loose by Milwaukee after batting .121 (4-for-33) with five steals across 10 games for Triple-A Nashville. The 30-year-old speedster is merely organizational depth at this stage of his career.

Brewers signed OF Roman Quinn to a minor league contract.
Quinn, 30, was released by the Guardians early last month before joining the Brewers’ Triple-A affiliate in recent days. He’s a .226/.303/.348 hitter in the majors and will mostly function as depth at this point.

Roman Quinn went 2-for-4, stole a pair of bases and scored a run as the Guardians fell to the Diamondbacks in Cactus League action on Saturday.
Quinn singled off of Zac Gallen in the fifth inning, swiped second base and then ultimately stole home as part of a double steal with Tyler Freeman. He also doubled off of Kevin Ginkel in the sixth inning. Even with the two-hit effort though, the 29-year-old is hitting just .192 (5-for-26) this spring -- though that comes with three homers, seven RBI and three stolen bases.

Roman Quinn flexed his muscles on Monday, blasting a pair of home runs and driving in five to lead the Guardians to an 12-4 victory over the Cubs in Cactus League play.
The speedy outfielder opened the scoring in the ballgame with his two-run shot off of Jameson Taillon in the second inning. Quinn then smacked a three-run shot off of Peyton Remy in the fifth inning that extended the Guardians’ lead to 8-3. He now has three long balls in just five at-bats this spring. While it was a memorable day for the 29-year-old outfielder, he still faces an uphill climb at attempting to secure a reserve role in the Guardians’ crowded outfield.

Guardians signed OF Roman Quinn to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Quinn bounced between the Phillies and Rays last season, slashing just .215/.287/.304 in 87 total plate appearances. He was outrighted off the 40-man roster in Tampa Bay in November. The 29-year-old will function as organizational outfield depth for Cleveland leading into the 2023 campaign.

Rays sent outfielder Roman Quinn outright to Triple-A Durham.
Quinn hit .215/.287/.304 in 87 plate appearances with the Phillies and Rays last season. He’ll look for a bench gig elsewhere this winter. His speed makes him a decent option, but he’s just so prone to injury.
