Yankees signed LHP Oddanier Mosqueda to a minor league contract.
Mosqueda heads to the longtime rival Yankees after spending the last eight years in the Red Sox’ minor league system. The 24-year-old southpaw has yet to reach the big leagues and finished this past season with a lackluster 5.31 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 74/39 K/BB ratio across 61 innings (48 appearances, three starts) for Triple-A Worcester. He’s extra minor league depth for New York heading into 2024.
