Sanburn, the No. 74 overall pick, will receive a signing bonus of $710,000, according to Baseball America. The hard throwing right-hander went 4-1 with a 2.43 ERA in 22 games for Arkansas, including a team-leading eight saves.

Ranked prior to the season by Baseball America as Oakland’s No. 11 prospect, Sanburn boasts a 2.92 ERA and 118/41 K/BB ratio over 120 career innings in the minors. The former second-round pick has spent all of this season at High-A but could be an option for the White Sox’ bullpen eventually.
