Rockies sent RHP Noah Davis outright to Triple-A Albuquerque.
He’s off the 40-man roster. The Rockies are using that room to select the contract of Ty Blach, as Blach is starting Sunday’s game against the Orioles.
  • COL Relief Pitcher #63
Rockies optioned RHP Noah Davis to Triple-A Albuquerque.
The 27-year-old right-hander has made nine appearances at the big-league level this season, posting a 5.75 ERA, 1.87 WHIP and a 15/7 K/BB ratio over 20 1/3 innings. Seth Halvorsen was promoted from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move on Friday.
  • COL Relief Pitcher #63
Rockies recalled RHP Noah Davis from Triple-A Albuquerque.
The Rockies could slide Davis into Germán Márquez’s place in the rotation, though he’s not a very good option there. The 27-year-old had a 5.86 ERA for Albuquerque this season, and he’s gone 0-4 with a 9.00 ERA in six stars and four relief appearances for the Rockies since debuting in 2022.
  • COL Starting Pitcher #63
Noah Davis will be the 27th player for the Rockies for their doubleheader against the Mariners on Sunday.
Davis will be up as a bullpen option for the twin bill against Seattle. The right-hander will then head back to Triple-A Albuquerque, barring something unforeseen.
  • COL Starting Pitcher #20
Rockies’ manager Bud Black announced Friday that Peter Lambert will take the injured Kyle Freeland’s spot in the team’s starting rotation.
Lambert has done a decent job out of the Rockies’ bullpen this season, registering a 2.31 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and a 10/6 K/BB ratio over 11 2/3 innings of work. Noah Davis — who was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday — will take over Lambert’s long-relief role.

Rockies recalled RHP Noah Davis from Triple-A Albuquerque.
Davis gets the call up after the Rockies placed Kyle Freeland on the 15-day injured list. The 26-year-old has made four starts this season at the Triple-A level posting a 6.62 ERA, 1.81 WHIP and a 21/10 K/BB ratio across 17 2/3 innings.
  • COL Shortstop #91
Rockies optioned INF Adael Amador, OF Yanquiel Fernandez, and RHPs Angel Chivilli and Juan Mejia to Double-A Hartford; optioned RHP Noah Davis to Triple-A Albuquerque; reassigned RHPs Karl Kauffmann, Jeff Criswell, Chance Adams, OF Zac Veen and INF Sterlin Thompson to minor league camp.
Amador blossomed last year into one of the top prospects in the entire fantasy landscape from a dynasty standpoint as his contact skills put him on the potential fast track to the majors as he enters his age-21 season. Fernandez, Veen and Thompson also have a great deal of fantasy potential, if they ascend to the big leagues in Colorado down the line.

Noah Davis pitched decently in his Cactus League debut on Saturday, giving up just one run on three hits over two innings in a loss to the Diamondbacks.
On the plus side, the 26-year-old hurler racked up three strikeouts on the afternoon while issuing one free pass. The damage against him came in the opening inning, as Alex Thomas reached on a one-out single, advanced on a ground ball and raced around to score on a two-out knock by Jace Peterson. He also escaped a two-on, two-out jam in the second inning by getting Corbin Carroll to fly out. Davis’s three strikeout victims in the contest were Carroll, Emmanuel Rivera and Jose Herrera. He faces an uphill battle at claiming a spot in the Rockies’ Opening Day rotation, but overall it was a solid spring debut for Davis.

The 26-year-old hurler made his final start of the season on Wednesday against the Dodgers — giving up four runs over 4 1/3 innings. Since he wasn’t going to start again this season, the Rockies will use his spot on the roster for an extra bullpen arm over the final few days. Davis finishes the season with an 8.70 ERA, 1.93 WHIP and a 26/15 K/BB ratio in 30 innings with the big league club.

Noah Davis allowed four runs across 4 1/3 innings on Wednesday in a loss against the Dodgers.
Davis tossed two scoreless innings against the Dodgers before James Outman took him deep for a solo homer to lead off the third. Things unraveled for Davis in the fifth when the Dodgers brought three more runs in on Davis, chasing him out of the game with one out in the inning. The 26-year-old right-hander owns a 8.70 ERA, 1.93 WHIP, and a 26/15 K/BB ratio across 30 innings.
