Nick Lodolo worked around three walks to pitch 1 2/3 scoreless innings against the Angels on Wednesday.
He struck out two. With Rhett Lowder and Andrew Abbott both being brought along slowly this spring, the slim chance of Lodolo getting left out of the Reds rotation appears gone. He’ll probably offer some mixed-league value while healthy.

Reds and LHP Nick Lodolo avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.975 million contract.
The injuries have been stacking up for Lodolo, and he wound up with a 4.76 ERA in his 21 starts before finishing last season on the IL with a finger strain. He’s still very promising, but he might have to compete for his rotation spot this spring and we don’t have a ton of faith that he’ll remain healthy.

Nick Lodolo will miss the rest of the season due to the finger injury he sustained last month.
Lodolo ends the year 9-6 with a 4.76 ERA in 21 starts. He gave up 13 runs in his last two outings, adding more than three-quarters of a run to that ERA. There’s a whole lot of talent here, but he’s often unavailable and he’s been quite inconsistent when he’s been able to pitch. The former probably does have something latter, of course.

Reds placed LHP Nick Lodolo on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to August 24, with a left middle finger strain.
Lodolo injured the finger during Thursday’s loss to the Pirates. He’ll miss at least two weeks with the injury, and the Reds may take extra precaution because of where they are in the standings. Casey Legumina was recalled to take Lodolo’s place on the roster.

Nick Lodolo allowed five runs in 4 2/3 innings and took the loss against the Pirates on Thursday.
Lodolo gave up two hits, walked three and struck out nine. He’s allowed at least five runs in three of his last five starts, but this time he did it while only giving up two hits. With two outs and a man on base in the fifth inning, Lodolo proceeded to allow a walk, a hit by pitch, an RBI single, and a hit by pitch with the bases loaded. He was removed from a 2-0 game with the bases loaded and all three runs came around to score. Once again, the strikeouts were nice but Lodolo now has a 4.76 ERA on the year. The 26-year-old left-hander is set to face the Athletics at home next week.

Nick Lodolo allowed eight runs in 2 1/3 innings and took the loss against the Royals on Saturday.
Lodolo gave up eight hits, walked two and struck out two. He completely fell apart in the third inning. Already down 3-0, Lodolo allowed two hits and a walk to load the bases before walking in a run. He was removed after a flyout and RBI single by Paul DeJong. The bases were loaded again and all three runners were Lodolo’s responsibility. Buck Farmer came in and immediately allowed a grand slam to Dairon Blanco, which closed the book on Lodolo with eight earned runs allowed. While this was his shortest outing of the season, it was also the second time he’s allowed eight runs in his last four starts. Lodolo has 113 strikeouts in 110 1/3 innings this year, but his ERA is now 4.55 on the season. The 26-year-old left-hander is set to face the Pirates on the road next week.

Nick Lodolo yielded three runs over 5 1/3 innings Sunday in a no-decision versus the Brewers.
With the Reds up 3-2, Lodolo gave a up a walk and a double with one out in the sixth. The double from William Contreras failed to score the run, but the runner did touch home after Lodolo was pulled. Lodolo is 1-1 with a 5.87 ERA in seven starts since returning from a blister last month. We’d stick with him, but it’d be nice to see some improvement soon.

Nick Lodolo allowed two runs in six innings and got the win in the Red’s 8-2 victory over the Marlins on Tuesday.
Lodolo gave up two hits, walked three and struck out seven. The win is his ninth of the season and first since June 18th. Lodolo bounced back nicely after allowing eight runs in his last start. He has a 3.93 ERA on the year. The 26-year-old left-hander is set to face the Brewers on the road this weekend.

Nick Lodolo was clobbered in Wednesday’s loss to the Cubs, surrendering eight runs on 11 hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work.
On the plus side for fantasy managers, Lodolo managed to punch out six batters in the ballgame and didn’t allow a base on balls. The Cubs jumped on him early in this one, scratching out a pair of runs in the second inning and adding four more in the third on two-run doubles by Seiya Suzuki and Patrick Wisdom. Lodolo then settled in for a bit before serving up a two-run homer to Ian Happ before exiting in the sixth. He got 12 swings and misses on 103 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries a 3.99 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and a 100/26 K/BB ratio (97 innings) into Tuesday’s matchup against the Marlins in Miami.

Nick Lodolo allowed five hits and two earned runs across 6 2/3 innings on Wednesday against the Rays. He struck out five and walked one in a no-decision.
Lodolo worked his way through a lot of hard contact to earn this quality start. It was strange though as Lodolo didn’t have any of his off-speed or breaking balls working yet forced eight swings-and-misses with his fastball. This made two consecutive starts where he’s worked into the seventh inning and his seventh time doing so this season.
