Twins center fielder Byron Buxton put a stop to the Astros’ ninth-inning rally Saturday night at Minute Maid Park with a lightning-quick reaction on a two-out, bases-loaded line drive off the bat of Jose Altuve. If the ball drops in front of Buxton, the Astros at least tie the game. If the ball gets past Buxton, it’s a walkoff win for Houston. Altuve hit a scorcher to center and Buxton had very little time to react.
