Bottom of the ninth between the Angels and Athletics this afternoon. Bases loaded and two outs with the Angels up by one. Ike Davis connected for a long drive to center field off Huston Street which appeared to be a potential game-winner. That’s when Mike Trout saved the day:

Street’s reaction just about sums it up nicely:
Street on Trout's catch: "I almost pulled an oblique doing a fist pump. That's why he's an MVP." #Angels

Trout finishes April with a .329/.447/.592 batting line to go along with five home runs, 14 RBI, and six stolen bases over 22 games. We’re getting pretty spoiled by his excellence.
