Twins prospect and current DH Miguel Sano has hit the ground running since making his major league debut on July 2. He has registered at least one hit in each of his first six games and hit his first career home run in Tuesday’s game against the Orioles.
He stepped to the plate in the first inning with a runner on second base and one out, facing starter Kevin Gausman. Sano crushed a foul ball that went home run distance, took a ball to even the count at 1-1, then swatted a two-run home run to left-center for a two-run home run.
