Joc Pederson has hit some massive homers this year. He’s also played some serious defense in center field.
Take this catch off of Justin Upton’s bat in the Dodgers-Padres game yesterday afternoon in which he (a) runs a country mile; (b) gets turned around a couple of times; and (c) smashes into the wall, yet still makes the grab:

Not only was it a great grab, it was an essential grab. The game was tied in the bottom of the ninth with two men on. If Upton’s ball had landed -- and with many center fielders it would’ve -- the Padres walk off with a win. As it was, the Dodgers lived to make extra innings and won it.
