The Giants-Phillies game at Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday night has been interesting and not just because it’s been an offense-packed, back-and-forth game. In the sixth inning, home plate umpire Bob Davidson ejected a fan who had been loudly heckling him throughout the game.

Meghan Montemurro of The News Journal has the details:

The Phillies fan is only the second person Davidson has ejected this year. The other was Anthony Rendon back on June 15. Rendon argued a called strike three.

The Phillies jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two innings against Madison Bumgarner, but the Giants fought back and scored five times in the fifth to tie it at 6-6. The Phillies scored once in the bottom half of the fifth, only to have their lead once again erased in the sixth on an Angel Pagan two-run home run. It’s currently 7-6 Giants.
