Tuesday’s game in Cincinnati between the Cubs and Reds has been postponed. Both teams have Wednesday off, but Tuesday’s game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on May 19 with the games starting at 1:10 PM and 7:10 PM ET.
The Reds had delayed the start of the game, hoping the weather would clear up in time to get some baseball in, but alas.
The Cubs’ Jon Lester had been scheduled to oppose the Reds’ Cody Reed. Both pitchers figure to have their starts pushed to Thursday. The Reds begin a road series against the Pirates while the Cubs open up a road series with the Brewers.
