The Royals are rebuilding now, and while Ned Yost remains in charge, most of his coaching staff will be different. Today they announced a number of changes.

The Royals have have promoted minor league hitting coordinator, Terry Bradshaw, to big league hitting coach. No word on Cliff Stoudt or Bubby Brister.

Bradshaw takes over for Dale Sveum, who will become the bench coach. That job opened up when the club declined to bring Don Wakamatsu back. The Royals also named Cal Eldred as their pitching coach who takes over for the dismissed Dave Eiland (Wakamatsu has since joined the Rangers as bench coach and Eiland has joined the Mets as pitching coach). Finally, the Royals have named Vance Wilson the bullpen coach and Pedro Grifol the quality control coach.
