Earlier today the Yankees postponed their afternoon tilt due to snow and cold temperatures. Now, a few hours later, the Mets have announced they have postponed their home game against the Phillies which was to begin, well, a few hours later. The game will be made up in a July 9 doubleheader.
In the meantime, between yesterday’s off day and today’s snow-out, Gabe Kapler’s relievers will be totally rested and will be able to be fully deployed in any way Kapler desires in their next contest.
