The Oakland Athletics activated closer Sean Doolittle from the 15-day disabled list.
Doolittle has missed the last three weeks with with an intercostal strain. In his absences, the Athletics have suffered a sprained everything and, well, you know what “dead arm” is? Apply that to all 25 guys on the roster and that’s what the A’s have had. It’s chronic, really.
The A’s take on Seattle this weekend. They have a one and a half game lead over Seattle for the second wild card.
