According to a report from MLB.com’s Corey Brock, the Padres are expected to call up outfield prospect Rymer Liriano on Monday, when the club will open up a short three-game homestand against the Rockies. The Padres will make a corresponding roster move tomorrow.

Liriano, 23, was promoted to Triple-A El Paso shortly after the All-Star break. In 69 plate appearances, he slashed .467/.536/.683 with 11 doubles and 13 RBI. He entered the 2013 season as a consensus top-100 prospect, getting a #39 overall ranking from Baseball Prospectus, #49 from Baseball America, and #55 from MLB.com. However, he missed the entire season after undergoing Tommy John surgery, and fell out of the top-100 going into the 2014 season. However, he still ranked among the top-ten in the Padres’ system.
