Free agent third baseman Pablo Sandoval will be one of the most pursued free agents during the off-season. It sounds like he’s hoping to remain with the Giants, however, saying, “I want to wear that jersey for the rest of my career,” per Janie McCauley of the Associated Press.

On choosing his eventual landing spot, Sandoval said, “I’m going to do what my heart tells me,” via CSN Bay Area’s Andrew Baggarly.

Sandoval, 28, had another productive season, batting .279/.324/.415 with 16 home runs and 73 RBI during the regular season. He made a tremendous impact during the playoffs, batting .366 in 71 at-bats, including .429 in 28 World Series at-bats. He set the record for the most hits in a single post-season with 26.
