Over at Cut4 at MLB.com Gemma Kaneko and Michael Clair have come up with a fantastic way to get through a super slow news day. It’s a quiz. A visual quiz in which they have taken video of a pitcher pitching but blacked-out the pitcher into a silhouette. It’s up to you to guess the pitcher.
It’s not terribly hard. One of them is given away by the silhouette of his hair. You can narrow down the possible choices on a couple by looking at the ballpark and the catcher’s uniform. At least two of them have deliveries that are so distinct that if you DON’T get it, I’m gonna ban you from this site. A couple skew slightly older school, though, and even if you get them all correct it’s a fun exercise.
