Veteran infielder Munenori Kawasaki has signed a minor-league contract with the Cubs after spending the past three seasons with the Blue Jays.

Kawasaki became a fan favorite in Toronto thanks to his personality and dugout dance moves, but at age 35 he’s likely to spend most of the season at Triple-A for the Cubs.

He’s a career .234 hitter with one homer and a .599 OPS in 262 games as a major leaguer, but does have experience at second base, third base, and shortstop.
